One part transformation story, one part paean to the mighty honey bee. Paula Carnell was a well-known artist based in England when, in 2008, she fell ill from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder which confined her to bed and wheelchair. With little hope offered from conventional medicine, she turned to herbs, clean water, and plant-based minerals and achieved a full recovery seven years later.
